At UpsKale we believe it is never too early or too late to work on being the healthiest you!  We strive to provide you fresh, healthy, and quality ingredients to help support you on your journey. 

The concept for UpsKale was conceived in our Washington, D.C. kitchen after weeks of brainstorming.  Combining our passion for health, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of our Puerto Rican community we set out on this venture. There are limited options for fresh healthy food choices outside of San Juan.  We travel to Puerto Rico a few times a month.  We have experienced first hand the need for alternatives to the delicious and flavorful yet mostly fried and heavily seasoned mainstays.  We made it our mission to help give people healthy, locally sourced choices. We are starting with cold pressed juices and eventually expanding to shakes, snacks, and healthy food.

The name UpsKale is a play on words with the primary meaning associated with one of the most powerful and nutritionally dense vegetables on the planet “Kale”. It also means “quality”. That is what we want you to feel when you buy our juices, that you are consuming something high in nutrient content and made with quality ingredients that will make you feel great!
